    Brian M. White

    Founder/President

    Brian grew up in his family’s small printing business, which is where he developed his passion for commercial printing and discovered the rewarding results that come from hard work and dedication. While obtaining his AA degree in Printing Management at CCBC he realized that he had a passion for the sales side of business. In 1983, Brian left his father’s printing company and spent the next five years gaining invaluable experience with a local mid-sized commercial printing company and a local business forms distributorship.

    In 1988 Brian knew it was time to launch his own printing business, with a mission to provide his clients with an unmatched experience in the printing business. He knew that if he assembled the best employee’s, equipment, and technology that he would be able to constantly exceed his customer’s expectations. From Creative Print Group’s humble beginning in the basement of his Catonsville townhome, Brian has grown his business over the past 29 years into one of Baltimore/Washington’s most respected commercial printing and marketing companies. He continually invests in the most current technology and equipment that are available for the industry in his state of the art facility located in Baltimore. His customer service is always being complimented as the best in the industry, and to this day Brian remains more focused and driven than ever to insure that all clients receive an outstanding experience. He prides himself on the fact that his dedicated staff builds meaningful relationships every day.

    Brian resides in Catonsville and enjoys spending time with his two sons. He is very active in serving the community and participates in numerous sports activities as well. He was the campaign manager for one of the House of Delegates in his area for 16 years. Brian also pursues his love of music by playing music in a local band, “Ready, Set, Go” in some of the areas largest venues. Brian is the current Board Chair for the Lansdowne Athletic Facility, “Leadership Through Athletics."

  • Steve Thomas

    Steve Thomas

    VP Operations

    Steve graduated from a Baltimore printing technical school in 1988 while earning the Seal of Merit in printing. From there he continued his education in printing and production management by achieving 2 certificates in Lean Manufacturing and, a certificate in color management, as well as participating in an RIT color management program.

    In his 28 years of printing, Steve Thomas has always strived for continued success in commercial printing. Beginning as a press helper in 1985 for a small printing company, Steve moved to a large printer in 1987 as a pressman. He learned by working “in the trenches” just how important it is to be thorough in everything you do. In 1995 Steve was promoted to pressroom manager, and then promoted again to general manager five years later, managing three shifts of production.

    In 2006 Steve began a career at Creative Print Group as VP of Operations managing a company of 30 employees. He instituted Lean operations in production flow and in teaching managers the invaluable importance of good customer service relations. Under Steve’s direction, Creative Print Group achieved a G-7 printing certification ensuring that all customer jobs are color managed to the strictest industry standards. Steve’s business philosophy is to continually invest in the best technologies the industry has to offer, and provide the appropriate resources for his employees, allowing them to achieve excellence in the most effective and efficient manner.

  • John Stankard

    John Stankard

    Lead Customer Service

    A native of Rochester NY, John graduated from Fairport High School in 1985. Two years later he started working for the printing company Datagraphic, while simultaneously taking printing classes at R.I.T. During his tenure, John worked his way up from the bindery to a lead pressman, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the printing industry along the way. In 1991 he decided to move to Baltimore, and began taking classes at CCBC while working full time as a press operator at local printing company Vallis. John received a Liberal Arts degree from CCBC in 1995 and began work as a sales service rep, and joined the Creative team four years later.

    John has been married for over 10 years and has two young daughters. When he is not helping CPG clients have an impeccable print and marketing experience, he coaches his daughters soccer and basketball teams, along with playing flag football, softball, and other sports.

  • Paul Martin

    Paul Martin

    Pre-Press Manager

    Paul started in the printing industry at a young age working in the bindery and stripping departments on weekends at the shop where his father worked as a pressman. It was there he learned about film, stripping and plating as well as the basics behind printing.

    While attending Howard Community College he worked part-time for a local prepress shop, eventually taking a full-time position to help the company expand from a shop with only scanning and camera capabilities to a shop producing computer generated film, electronic stripping and typesetting capabilities for its print clients. In his 8 years of employment with the company, he helped integrate new software and equipment to help the company maintain it’s position as a front-runner in the prepress area.

    As the need for prepress continued to grow, and many companies began to implement these department in-house, Paul moved to Creative Print Group and became the prepress manager. In the 10 years working at Creative as prepress manager, he has helped oversee and implement direct-to-plate imaging, digital proofing, G7 certification for proofing, adding and maintaining digital storefronts, adding variable print for custom labeling and mailings.

    Born in Washington D.C. and raised in Oxon Hill, Maryland, Paul moved with his parents and sister to Columbia, Maryland in his early teens. Today, he calls the Columbia area home with his wife and son.

  • Lisa Brocato

    Lisa Brocato

    Senior Account Executive

    Lisa joined Creative Print Group in April 2012 with over twenty-five years of print experience. Working with a plethora of clients, ranging from non-profits, corporations, educational institutions and associations, Lisa understands the importance of being on-time, in budget and aware of changing technologies.

    Lisa treats each project—whether it’s a simple business card order to a complex multi-piece direct mail package—with the same dedication. Her care and expertise is imprinted on every delivery you receive. That’s why Lisa has collaborated and worked with many of her clients for well over fifteen years. Her interests have always centered on superior customer service, advocating for her clients and anticipating any potential manufacturing issues. Her goal is to make her clients look good, and her straightforward and friendly manner makes working with Lisa a pleasure.

    When she’s not confirming Pantone colors and delivery instructions, she enjoys spending time with her three teenagers and saving homeless animals in conjunction with local animal rescue organizations.

    Rick Trail

    Account Executive

    Rick entered the Baltimore area printing industry as a sales representative in 1991, and has worked at the Creative Print Group since 2004. His background includes a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland School of Business and Management.

    Rick has worked extensively with small businesses, advertising agencies, colleges, banks and hospitals. During that time, he has maintained a commitment to providing the best possible service and quality of work at fair and consistent prices. He believes strongly that being honest and working hard for the people that place their trust in him is the best way to conduct his business.

  • Jack O’Brien

    Jack O’Brien

    Account Executive

    Originally from Marion, Massachusetts, Jack began his printing industry career as an employee of a mid-sized Baltimore based print broker for over 21 years. He was a sales leader for 15 years before elevating to the position of Co-Principal. Under Jack’s leadership and vision, the company became one of the leading printing distributorships on the East Coast. After meeting Brian White, Jack decided to move from print brokering to print manufacturing, thus beginning his relationship with the team—and the clients—at Creative Print Group.

    Jack is the father of four and enjoys raising them with various activities, such as lacrosse (Jack himself is a former all-American high school lacrosse player and served as resident assistant/co-captain of Roanoke College’s Division III lacrosse team), swimming, soccer and many others. He currently resides in Annapolis, Maryland and enjoys golf, competitive sailing, cycling and racquetball during his leisure time.

  • Ray Barcikowski

    Ray Barcikowski

    Account Executive

    Ray attended Shepherd University from 1987-1991 where he participated on the mens basketball program for four years while earning a degree in communications. In 2004, he joined the Creative Print Group team because of its award winning customer service and history of being voted the # 1 problem solver in the industry since 1988.

    Ray has 13 years of experience with providing the best customer service and "on demand" answers to all of his clients needs, and understands that EVERY client gets the attention they deserve…whether the project is a short run business card or a full color magazine.
